Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated BAMS Doctor to provide holistic Ayurvedic healthcare services at our facility in Nashik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consulting patients, diagnosing ailments based on Ayurvedic principles, developing personalized treatment plans, and educating patients on lifestyle and dietary recommendations to promote overall well-being. This role is crucial for delivering authentic Ayurvedic care and ensuring positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Consultation & Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories, including lifestyle, diet, and familial history (Ayurvedic Prakriti assessment).
Perform clinical examinations and Ayurvedic diagnostic procedures such as Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis), Mutra Pariksha, Mala Pariksha, Jihwa Pariksha (tongue diagnosis), and Shabda Pariksha.
Diagnose diseases and imbalances (Dosha imbalances) based on Ayurvedic principles (Tridosha Siddhanta, Agni, Dhatus, Malas).
Treatment Planning & Prescription:
Develop comprehensive and individualized Ayurvedic treatment plans, which may include:
Prescribing classical and proprietary Ayurvedic medicines (herbal formulations, Bhasmas, etc.).
Recommending specific Ayurvedic therapies (Panchakarma therapies like Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, Raktamokshana).
Suggesting external applications (., Lepas, Abhyanga).
Provide detailed guidance on dietary modifications (Aahar) and lifestyle adjustments (Vihar) including exercise, yoga, meditation, and daily routines (Dinacharya, Ritucharya).
Counsel patients on preventive healthcare and disease management through Ayurvedic principles.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate, clear, and confidential patient records, including case histories, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow-up notes.
Ensure all medical records comply with established protocols and legal requirements.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (., therapists, nurses, dietitians) to ensure integrated patient care.
Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and the benefits of Ayurvedic treatments.
Communicate effectively with internal team members, sharing insights and ensuring smooth operations.
Ethical Practice & Continuous Learning:
Adhere strictly to medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and professional conduct guidelines.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ayurveda, attend workshops, seminars, and continuous medical education (CME) programs.
Contribute to medical research or case studies if opportunities arise.
