Duties will vary depending on the activity an operator is assigned the post holder should be able to undertake the following: Prepare physical documentation for scanning in accordance with file preparation procedure. Scanning of documents on high speed scanning stations and image capture via camera of physical cherished documents (. passports/birth certificates). Quality check completed scanned document and save document file onto the Network Storage System. Accurately file name and index scanned documents. The physical retrieval of hardcopy files from the onsite storage location. The physical return of hardcopy files to allocated shelf in the onsite storage location. Highlight any issues to the Team Leader (Archives) and Operations Manager (Mail, Archives, Print & Repro) Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in line with procedures where applicable.
