Duties will vary depending on the activity an operator is assigned the post holder should be able to undertake the following: • Prepare physical documentation for scanning in accordance with file preparation procedure. • Scanning of documents on high speed scanning stations and image capture via camera of physical cherished documents (. passports/birth certificates). • Quality check completed scanned document and save document file onto the Network Storage System. • Accurately file name and index scanned documents. • The physical retrieval of hardcopy files from the onsite storage location. • The physical return of hardcopy files to allocated shelf in the onsite storage location. • Highlight any issues to the Team Leader (Archives) and Operations Manager (Mail, Archives, Print & Repro) • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in line with procedures where applicable.
