Aviation Operations Associate - Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Aviation Operations Associate to support the smooth and efficient functioning of daily airport and airline operations. The candidate will assist with flight-related coordination, passenger services, ground operations, documentation, and communication between different departments to ensure operational activities are completed safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily airport and airline operational activities according to established procedures.

- Assist with flight preparation, arrival, departure, boarding, and turnaround-related activities.

- Coordinate with ground-handling teams, airline staff, security personnel, terminal teams, and other operational departments.

- Assist passengers with general operational queries and provide accurate information when required.

- Monitor flight schedules, gate information, boarding activities, and operational updates.

- Support smooth passenger movement within designated terminal areas.

- Assist in coordinating baggage, ground services, equipment, and other operational requirements.

- Maintain accurate records, reports, checklists, and operational documentation.

- Communicate flight delays, schedule changes, service issues, and other operational updates to the concerned teams.

- Identify routine operational issues and coordinate with the appropriate department for timely resolution.

- Ensure all assigned activities comply with airport safety, security, and operational procedures.

- Assist supervisors and operations managers with daily planning and coordination.

- Maintain professionalism and effective communication during busy periods and unexpected operational situations.

- Participate in shift handovers and provide accurate updates to the incoming team.

- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or airport management.

Skills & Qualifications:

Candidates should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach. Basic computer knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a team are required. Candidates should be capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced airport environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Previous experience in aviation, airport operations, customer service, hospitality, logistics, or ground handling can be an advantage. The candidate should be flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays and must follow all applicable airport safety, security, and operational standards.
