- Repair vehicles: Identify and repair structural damage on various types of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks.
- As an automobile denter, you will be responsible for examining vehicles to determine the extent of the damage and using specialized tools to pull, push, or straighten the bodywork back into shape.
- Replace damaged parts: Remove and replace damaged parts, such as body panels, bumpers, and fenders, to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
- You will need to have a good understanding of vehicle anatomy and be able to follow instructions to remove and install new parts accurately.
- Perform finishing touches: Perform finishing touches on repaired areas, such as sanding, priming, and painting to ensure a seamless finish.
- Attention to detail is essential in this role to ensure the repaired areas blend in with the rest of the vehicle's bodywork.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep your workstation clean and organized to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
