## Technician - Entrance Automation & Door Systems

### 1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Technician to install, commission, service, and maintain automatic entrance systems and industrial door automation products at customer sites across Bengaluru and nearby locations.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical fitting, power tools, troubleshooting, and installation of automated door and gate systems.

### 2. Key Responsibilities

A. Installation & Commissioning

- Install and commission automatic rolling shutters and rolling shutter motors.

- Install sliding gate motors, swing gate motors, and automatic gate systems.

- Install high-speed doors, sectional garage doors, and other industrial door systems.

- Perform mechanical fitting, drilling, alignment, mounting, and electrical connections.

- Install control panels, limit switches, safety sensors, photocells, remotes, and other accessories.

- Test the products to ensure smooth, safe, and reliable operation.

- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, electricians, and customers during installation.

B. Service & Maintenance

- Attend customer complaints and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation-related faults.

- Repair or replace faulty motors, sensors, wiring, switches, and accessories.

- Conduct routine inspections and recommend necessary repairs.

- Respond to service calls within the assigned schedule.

C. Site Management & Reporting

- Visit customer sites across Bengaluru and surrounding areas as assigned.

- Prepare daily installation and service reports, including work completed, pending work, and site photographs.

- Maintain records of materials, tools, spare parts, and components used at each site.

- Report site issues, additional material requirements, and technical problems to the reporting manager.

- Obtain customer confirmation after completing installation or service work.

- Maintain company tools and ensure proper use of safety equipment.

D. Safety & Customer Service

- Follow electrical safety procedures and safe working practices at all sites.

- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and tools.

- Maintain professional conduct and communicate politely with customers.

- Ensure installations meet company quality standards and manufacturer guidelines.

### 3. Technical Skills Required

- Basic electrical wiring and electrical troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of AC/DC motors, control panels, relays, limit switches, and sensors.

- Ability to use drilling machines, grinders, multimeters, and standard installation tools.

- Understanding of mechanical fitting, alignment, and fabrication basics.

- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and installation drawings.

- Knowledge of automatic gate and door systems will be an advantage.

### 4. Eligibility Criteria

- ITI in Electrician, Fitter, Electronics, or a related trade preferred.

- 1-3 years of experience in entrance automation, industrial doors, rolling shutters, or similar technical installations preferred.

- Freshers with relevant ITI qualifications and a strong willingness to learn may apply.

- Must be willing to travel to customer sites across Bengaluru.

- Must be punctual, disciplined, responsible, and comfortable working at project sites.

- A valid two-wheeler driving licence and own vehicle are preferred, if required for site travel.

### 5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely completion of installation and service assignments.

- Quality of installation and commissioning.

- Number of repeat complaints and callbacks.

- Customer satisfaction and feedback.

- Accuracy and timely submission of daily reports.

- Proper handling of tools, materials, and spare parts.

- Compliance with site safety procedures.

### 6. Reporting Structure

The Technician will report to the Installation & Service Manager / Operations Manager and coordinate with the Sales and Project teams whenever required.
