Auto CAD Designer

Roles and Responsibilities

 Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of 20-25 CAD technicians/Drafters.

 Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts and schematics using CAD Software (Architectural, Structural, and Civil Drawings).

 Drafting with Project Guideline: Layering with client€™s specification, plot style/color/line weight as per project guideline.

 Create interior and exterior elevation from floor plan and site photo.

 Work in Model Space and Paper Space (Layout Space) with multiple Scales.

 Convert hand-drawn sketch into AutoCAD, ensuring it is accurately layered and dimensionally correct according to the original input.

 Coordinate and manage projects from initiation to completion.

 Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.

 Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

 Prepare regular reports on project status, timeliness and team performance.

Qualification

 ITI Civil, ITI Arch.

 Diploma.

Preferred Skills

 AutoCAD-Latest Version (Architectural & Civil Drawings).

 Working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD Civil and MicroStation would be an additional advantage.

 Basic MS Office.

 Ensure Timely Delivery.

 Ensure the accuracy of drawings.

 Ability to read and understand client€™s specification/guidelines in English.

 Stay updated on industry trends, tools and technologies to enhance drafting capabilities.

 Metrics and Imperial Units.

 Preparation of Bill of Materials (Door & Window Schedules).

 Creating multiple sheets using X Ref file.

 Attribute Blocks.
