DESCRIPTION

At Blue Fence Systems, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced fire protection Design engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should strong background in fire safety design.

JOB DUTIES

Design fire protection systems for new and existing buildings, in compliance with local fire codes and regulations

Prepare cost estimates for proposed fire protection system designs. Assist in the development of building code requirements related to fire protection

Design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Location Plans, Connection Diagrams, Conduit / Block Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Panel Detail Drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and Battery Loading Calculations in accordance with national consensus codes and standards.

Provide technical support to site construction forces, start-up & testing, suppliers or subcontract personnel.

creating new autocad drawings from hand drawings and concept ideas design drawings in fire protection system and modify in accordance with engineer mark up and specifications on existing drawings

command over hydrelic calculations, coordination with project team, consultants and clients

Prepare Data Sheets, Statements of Work, Procurement Specications, Design Build Specications, and Purchase Requisitions.
