Job Description

the manager – audit quality will play a critical role in kpmg’s 2nd line of defense (2lod),

focusing on audit quality, professional skepticism, and enhancing team capabilities. this role

provides real-time support and coaching to engagement teams, ensuring audits are conducted

in accordance with professional standards.

key responsibilities:

● conduct independent, in-depth reviews of significant risks and key areas of focus on

audit engagements.

● ensure key audit matters (kam) compliance in engagement files.

● provide coaching and support to audit teams to enhance “learning on the job.”

● drive efficiency in audit approaches and methodologies.

● contribute to other quality & risk initiatives, including audit milestone monitoring,

monthly q&r mis, standardization, and audit quality project management.

additional information:

● non-client facing role.

● early joiners preferred (max 30 days notice period).

● ctc budget & brackets:

○ manager 1 (5–7 yrs): ₹20–22 lpa

○ manager 2 (7–8 yrs): ₹24–26 lpa

○ manager 3 (8+ yrs): ₹–29 lpa

● evaluated for ~30% hike on current ctc.;
