android software engineer (java/kotlin) :

role and responsibilities :

- design and build applications for the android platform

- ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

- work on bug fixing and improving application performance

- help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

- collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

- unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability

experience :

must have :

- highly proficient in kotlin/java using android studio ide

- proficient understanding of different application architectures such as mvvm, clean architecture.

- proficient experience in using coroutines

- proficient experience in using navigation component

- proficient experience in integrating restful apis using retrofit, okhttp, etc.

- proficient experience in parsing json api responses using gson, jackson, etc.

- proficient experience in push notifications using fcm

- experience in integrating maps and navigation libraries like google map, mapbox, gis technologies

- experience in crash reporting tools like crashlytics, etc.

- experience in integrating db like room, sqlite, etc.

- experience in code versioning tools such as git
