Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Fresher

An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is responsible for ensuring that aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for flight. They inspect, repair, maintain, and certify aircraft systems in compliance with aviation safety standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections before and after flights

Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft mechanical/electrical issues

Repair and replace faulty components (engines, hydraulics, avionics)

Conduct scheduled maintenance checks (A, B, C, D checks)

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

Ensure compliance with aviation authorities like DGCA

Certify aircraft as airworthy for operation

Work closely with pilots and ground staff

🔹 Skills Required

Strong knowledge of aircraft systems & engineering principles

Attention to detail and safety awareness

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Technical proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment

Teamwork and communication skills

🔹 Educational Qualification

AME Course approved by DGCA

OR Diploma/Degree in Aeronautical Engineering

Licensing is mandatory (Category B1/B2)

🔹 Work Environment

Airports, hangars, maintenance bases

Shift-based work (including nights & weekends)

Physically demanding and safety-critical role

Fresher: ₹3 - ₹5 LPA

Experienced: ₹6 - ₹15+ LPA
