An Air Ticketing Executive is responsible for handling flight reservations, issuing tickets, managing cancellations, and assisting customers with travel-related queries. The role requires strong knowledge of airline systems, fare rules, and customer service.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
Handle domestic and international flight bookings
Issue, reissue, and cancel air tickets using GDS systems
Provide customers with accurate fare details, routes, and travel options
Manage PNR creation, updates, and modifications
Assist customers with refunds, rescheduling, and cancellations
Ensure compliance with airline policies and fare rules
Coordinate with airlines and vendors for booking confirmations
Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person
Maintain proper documentation and booking records
Upsell travel-related services (insurance, hotel bookings, etc.)
💻 Required Skills:
Knowledge of GDS systems such as:
Amadeus
Galileo
Sabre
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of airline codes, geography, and fare calculation
Customer handling and problem-solving skills
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email handling)
Attention to detail and accuracy
🎓 Educational Qualification:
Minimum: 12th Pass
Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Travel & Tourism / Aviation

Fresher or experienced candidates can apply
0-3 years of experience in ticketing or travel agency preferred
