Cargo Operations: Assist in handling air import and export shipments, coordinating cargo acceptance, build-up, breakdown, and movement within the terminal.
Documentation: Prepare and verify air waybills (AWBs), invoices, packing lists, and other shipment documents.
Customer Coordination: Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, and airline partners regarding shipment status.
Compliance & Safety: Follow airport security protocols and IATA regulations, ensuring cargo screening and documentation meet regulatory standards.
Tracking & Reporting: Track incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain daily cargo reports, load plans, and operational records.
Skills Required: Good communication skills (written & verbal), basic understanding of logistics or supply chain (preferred but not mandatory), knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), ability to multitask and work under pressure, willingness to work in shifts (airport operations), quick learner with good coordination skills, educational qualification graduate in any discipline (BBA, BA, preferred), logistics or supply chain certification is an added advantage.
