Looking For Agriculture Assistant

As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the outdoor spaces of the owner's residence. This role involves various tasks to ensure the garden is well-kept, aesthetically pleasing, and healthy.

Key Responsibilities:

€¢ Landscape Maintenance: Regularly maintain flower beds, lawns, and shrubs through mowing, edging, weeding, and planting.

€¢ Plant Care: Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and implement appropriate treatments.

€¢ Irrigation Management: Set up and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering of all plants and lawn areas.

€¢ Seasonal Planting: Assist in seasonal planting, including annual flowers, bulbs, and perennials according to the garden design.

€¢ Pruning and Trimming: Perform pruning of trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and maintain shape.

€¢ Soil Management: Prepare and enrich soil for planting, including fertilisation and mulching.

€¢ General Upkeep: Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and safely stored.

€¢ Aesthetic Arrangement: Arrange garden ornaments, planters, and furniture to enhance the overall appearance of the outdoor space.

€¢ Collaboration: Work closely with the property owner to understand their vision and preferences for garden design and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:

€¢ Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Landscaping Engineering.

Experience

€¢ Prior experience as a gardener or in a similar role is preferred.

€¢ Background in landscaping and horticulture is beneficial, including familiarity with local plants and gardening practices.

€¢ Well-spoken in English to communicate effectively with the property owner and understand requirements.

€¢ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
