- maintain accurate records: the counselor must keep detailed records of all interactions with students, including notes from counseling sessions, application statuses, and any other relevant information.
- collaborate with other departments: the counselor will work closely with other departments within the institution, such as the admissions office and academic departments, to ensure a smooth transition for students.
