Accountant - Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in South Africa. The ideal candidate should have 8 to 14 years of experience in accounting and be ready to work full-time from the office.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Financial Reporting:** Prepare accurate financial statements, ensuring they comply with the required standards and regulations. This involves analyzing data to present a clear picture of the company’s financial position.

- **Budget Management:** Collaborate with different departments to develop and manage budgets. You will monitor spending and ensure that the company stays within its financial limits.

- **Tax Preparation and Compliance:** Handle all tax-related matters, ensuring timely and accurate filing of returns. This includes staying updated on tax laws to minimize liabilities.

- **Internal Controls:** Develop and implement effective internal control systems. This helps to protect company assets and ensures the integrity of financial reporting.

- **Audit Coordination:** Liaise with external auditors during audits. Your role will involve providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate the auditing process.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree in accounting or finance. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software are essential.
