we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented senior accountant to join our team. the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a strong background in gst (goods and services tax) and tds (tax deducted at source). this position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

responsibilities:

financial reporting:

prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly and annual basis.

ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.

gst and tds compliance:

handle gst filings, including gstr-1, gstr-3b, and other related returns.

manage tds compliance, ensuring accurate deduction, deposit, and filing of tds returns.

general ledger management:

maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports.

bank reconciliation:

perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

budgeting and forecasting:

assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.

audit support:

coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits.

ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.

process improvement:

identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in accounting procedures.

vendor and customer interaction:

liaise with vendors and customers regarding financial transactions and related inquiries.

team collaboration:

collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
