Core Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Process invoices, record daily transactions, and maintain journal entries in the general ledger.
Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
Audit Support: Gather documentation, prepare schedules, and assist internal and external auditors during reviews.
Compliance & Taxes: Ensure financial practices comply with standard accounting principles (., GAAP) and local regulations.
Expense & Budget Tracking: Monitor departmental expenses, assist in budget preparation, and track budget variances
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting systems (., Tally, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet strict financial deadlines.
