Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.

Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process.

Should have Hands-On Experience in Balance Sheet Finalization.

Preparation of Tax returns from work papers/organizers.

Communicating with client and delivering the job to the client.

Working on various tax software including Drake, CCH Access and Lacerate. Experience in one or more tax softwares a plus.

Efiling tax returns as per client instructions.

Preparation of 1040, 1120, 1120S and 1065s, 5471 and 5472.

FBAR Reporting and Performa 1120s.

Should have ability to handle and work with a team.

Experience in sales tax and HST.

Experience in US Accounting & Taxation will be more preferred.

Must be able to review the details and prepare systems for new clients and review the work for team.

Bookkeeping experience is mandatory.

Prepare corporate, partnership, Individual, fiduciary income tax returns.

Preparation of year-end tax closings including recording transactions, journal entries and review of books and records, a plus.

Prepare projections & year-end tax strategies.

Assume responsibility for completing multiple client assignments.

Work as part of an integrated team.

Preparation of monthly / quarterly / half yearly accounts.

Finalization of periodical accounts as per clients needs.

Review/prepare financial statements as per requirements.

Revenue / spend analysis, pay roll preparation etc.

Capability to collaborate with the team head and designated clients on their daily functions.

Tact to Train new resources inducted in team as and when required.

Candidate should have extreme attention to detail and should be quality oriented.
