we are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and highly motivated accountant to manage and maintain our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. the successful candidate will be a key contributor to the finance department, providing reliable data and analysis to support management decisions.

🎯 key responsibilities

the responsibilities of the accountant include, but are not limited to:

general ledger management: maintaining the general ledger (gl), performing account reconciliations, and preparing journal entries.

financial reporting: preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with gaap/ifrs.

accounts payable (ap) & accounts receivable (ar): managing vendor invoices, processing payments, tracking customer invoices, and monitoring collections.

budgeting and forecasting: assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.

tax compliance: preparing and filing various local, state, and federal tax returns (., sales tax, income tax, property tax), and ensuring adherence to tax laws.

payroll processing: overseeing or assisting with payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and tax with holdings.

internal controls: developing and maintaining robust internal accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

audit support: coordinating and assisting with internal and external financial audits.

analysis: performing financial analysis, variance analysis, and reporting on key financial metrics.
