Job Title: AC Helper (Trainee)

What You’ll Do

As an AC Helper, you’ll be the right hand to our Lead Technicians. You’ll learn the ropes of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems by doing the following:

* On-the-Job Support: Assist lead techs with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial AC units.

* Tool & Part Management: Ensure the service van is stocked and carry necessary tools and materials to the work site.

* Site Preparation: Set up ladders, protective floor coverings, and equipment before work begins.

* Cleanup: Maintain a professional workspace and ensure the customer’s property is spotless after the job is done.

* Skill Building: Learn to identify AC components, use specialized gauges, and understand basic electrical wiring under supervision.

Requirements

We hire for attitude and train for skill. To be successful, you’ll need:

* Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces (like attics or crawlspaces) or outdoors.

* Reliability: A valid driver’s license and a consistent track record of showing up on time.

* Eagerness to Learn: A genuine interest in the HVAC trade and the ability to follow technical instructions.

* Communication: Good people skills—you’ll be representing our company in customers' homes.
