Compliance & Audit: Perform, review, and evaluate on-site inspections of farms and processing facilities to ensure strict adherence to organic regulations.Documentation & Traceability: Review, verify, and maintain detailed records, including audit reports, input materials (seeds/fertilizers), and production logs to track organic integrity through the entire supply chain.Client Guidance & Support: Advise farmers and manufacturers on certification requirements, organic standards, and necessary improvements for compliance.Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of international and local organic standards, such as USDA National Organic Program (NOP), NPOP, or EU regulations.Certification Management: Coordinate the entire certification process, including handling applications, managing third-party inspections, and following up on non-compliance issues.Training & Education: Organize training workshops for producers and staff on organic standards and, if applicable, Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS). Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of organic agriculture, sustainable farming, and regulatory standards.Attention to Detail: Ability to review complex documents and identify potential violations.Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to produce inspection reports and communicate with stakeholders.Experience: Often requires 5+ years of experience in quality management or organic certification.
