Application Engineer is responsible for technical pre-sales as well as post-salessupport primarily technical presentations, benchmarking, ROI, sharing relevant technical documentation asand when possible and available. Key emphasis will be on the ability to understand customer requirements andrapidly demonstrate how solutions offered by company can be utilized. This position will require travel tocustomer facilities, exhibition, seminar and for pre-sales and post-sales activitiesWorking with sales team and demonstrates leadership and initiative to develop sales strategies and supportsales team for benchmark requests, ROI calculation, technical discussion and submission and similar activitiesrequired to enable the sale. Technical support in development of short and long term 3D Printer sales pipelineto support growth plan Use Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing expertise to help seek out new opportunities for customer value. Set direction for application support to be provided to customers and for solution replication Creates and grows reference customers by being engaged directly with customers and with those responsiblefor the product, services and support Support complex sales of products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis. May act as a dedicatedresource to a few strategic accounts Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client, including C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within theirindustry Contribute to ensuring executive relationships that establish company consultative professionalism andpromotes its total solution capabilitiesMaintains technical expertise on 3D Printing at all levels - prototyping, manufacturing, new applications,maintenance, typical objectives, measures, metricsHands on experience of any two 3D Printing techniques among FDM/ FFF, SLA, DLP, SLS,DMLS. /CAD design
