Established in 1989, Indian Acrylics (IAL) is a producer of acrylic fibre. The company was originally formed as joint sector project by R K Garg, alongwith Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation.

The company introduced micro-deniers in India for use in sarees, dress material, t-shirts etc. IAL sells its acrylic fibre under the brand name Indlon. The manufacturing plant of the company is located in Punjab. IAL has worked closely with its customer organizations that are located in China, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Europe and the USA. IAL also collaborated in the transfer of dry spun technology and implementation of best practises within organizations in Iran and China.
