As a Radiographer, you will play an essential role in the healthcare team, using imaging technology to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. Your primary responsibilities include:- **Performing Imaging Procedures**: You will operate various imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to capture detailed images of patients' body parts for diagnostic purposes.- **Patient Preparation**: You will ensure patients are comfortable and properly prepared for imaging procedures, explaining the process to reduce anxiety and secure cooperation.- **Image Quality Assessment**: You will evaluate the clarity and accuracy of the images produced, ensuring they meet the required standards for diagnosis.- **Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals**: You will work closely with doctors and other healthcare staff to discuss images and findings, contributing to a comprehensive treatment plan.- **Maintaining Equipment**: You will be responsible for the routine maintenance and proper functioning of imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly.- **Adhering to Safety Protocols**: You will follow strict safety and hygiene protocols to protect patients and staff from exposure to radiation.To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant degree in radiography, along with 1 to 7 years of experience in the field.
