The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all factory operations related to modular furniture and interior fit-out production. The role requires ensuring high-quality output, on-time delivery, cost control, efficient manpower utilization, and adherence to safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction PlanningPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently.Coordinate with the design and project execution teams to meet project deadlines.Ensure timely completion of production targets.Factory OperationsSupervise all wood manufacturing activities including cutting, edge banding, CNC machining, drilling, assembly, polishing, and packing.Monitor workflow to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of machinery and equipment.Quality ControlEnsure products meet company quality standards and approved drawings.Conduct regular quality inspections during each stage of production.Reduce defects, rework, and material wastage.Inventory & Material ManagementMonitor stock levels of plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, adhesives, and accessories.Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.Minimize inventory losses and optimize material usage.Team ManagementLead, motivate, and supervise supervisors, machine operators, carpenters, polishers, and helpers.Conduct daily production meetings and allocate work.Train employees on quality, productivity, and safety procedures.Monitor attendance and workforce performance.CoordinationWork closely with the Design, Sales, Procurement, and Site Execution teams.Resolve production bottlenecks affecting project timelines.Ensure smooth dispatch of finished products to installation sites.Health & SafetyMaintain a clean and safe factory environment.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and machine operating procedures.Promote proper use of PPE and safe working practices.Cost ControlMonitor production costs and improve operational efficiency.Reduce material wastage and machine downtime.Improve productivity through process optimization.
