Ground Handling Associate - Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and responsible Ground Handling Associate to support efficient airport and airline ground operations. The candidate will be responsible for assisting passengers, handling baggage-related activities, coordinating with different airport departments, and ensuring smooth movement of passengers and ground operations.The Ground Handling Associate will assist passengers during check-in, boarding, arrival, baggage collection, and other airport procedures. The role requires providing accurate information and professional assistance to passengers while maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude.Key Responsibilities:- Assist passengers with check-in, boarding passes, gate information, and boarding procedures.- Support baggage handling, tagging, loading, unloading, and baggage collection activities.- Coordinate with airline staff, airport operations teams, security personnel, and other ground-service departments.- Assist with aircraft turnaround activities and ensure ground operations are completed efficiently.- Monitor passenger and baggage movement according to established airport procedures.- Handle passenger queries and provide appropriate assistance during delays or operational issues.- Report damaged, delayed, or missing baggage and other operational concerns to the concerned supervisor.- Maintain accurate operational records, forms, and required documentation.- Follow all airport safety, security, and operational guidelines while performing duties.- Ensure the assigned work area remains organized and operationally ready.- Support special assistance requirements for passengers when required.- Work effectively as part of a team in a busy and time-sensitive airport environment.- Perform additional ground-handling responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or airport management.Skills & Qualifications:Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, a professional appearance, punctuality, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Basic computer knowledge and customer-service skills are preferred. Previous experience in aviation, airport operations, customer service, or ground handling can be an advantage.The successful candidate should be flexible with working hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, and must be committed to maintaining high standards of passenger service, safety, and operational efficiency.
