We are seeking a dedicated ITI Welder to join our team in Bhopal. This role is ideal for candidates with a basic understanding of welding techniques, preferably with some hands-on experience or training. Key Responsibilities:1. **Welding Tasks**: Perform various welding operations such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding based on project requirements. Ensure the quality and precision of all welds.2. **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand welding tasks. Accurately follow provided guidelines to achieve desired results.3. **Quality Assurance**: Inspect completed welds for defects and report any issues. Use measuring tools to ensure that components meet required standards.4. **Maintenance of Equipment**: Maintain welding equipment and tools by ensuring they are clean and in good working condition. Report any malfunctions to the supervisor.5. **Safety Protocols**: Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates must have completed their 10th standard education and possess an ITI diploma in welding. Key ResponsibilitiesWelding Operations: Perform high-quality structural and precision welding using various techniques based on material specifications, including:MIG (GMAW): Metal Inert Gas welding for steel and structural fabrications.TIG (GTAW): Tungsten Inert Gas welding for precision, thin materials, and stainless steel/aluminum.ARC / Stick (SMAW): Shielded Metal Arc Welding for heavy structures or maintenance work.Blueprint Reading: Interpret mechanical drawings, symbols, and welding blueprints to precisely plan layouts, assembly paths, and material requirements.Fit-up & Fabrication: Align, position, and secure parts together using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and turnbuckles prior to welding. Cut and prepare metal joints using grinders, torches, and saws.Quality Inspection: Inspect completed welds for defects, cracks, or distortion using gauges and visual checking methods. Ensure final assemblies match specified dimensions and tolerances.Machine Maintenance: Maintain and set up welding equipment, checking gas regulators, wire-feed speeds, and current voltage to ensure optimal machine performance.Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to workshop safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as welding helmets, gloves, and safety shoes.

Key ResponsibilitiesWelding Operations: Perform high-quality $CO_2$ / MIG welding on various steel grades, sheet metals, and structured components according to welding procedure specifications (WPS).Machine Setup & Tuning: Set up welding parameters, including adjusting current, voltage, wire feed speed, and $CO_2$ gas flow rates to match material thickness and design joints.Material Preparation: Clean, grind, clamp, and align metal workpieces prior to welding. Cut or bevel edges using hand grinders or torch cutters as specified.Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret baseline fabrication blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols to locate precise joint lines.Quality & Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure penetration uniformity and structurally sound joints. Identify and fix common defects like porosity, spatters, undercuts, or slag inclusion.Consumable Management: Maintain and replace torch consumables regularly, including copper contact tips, gas nozzles, liners, and MIG wire spools.Safety & PPE Maintenance: Strictly adhere to heavy engineering safety norms. Compulsory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including auto-darkening welding helmets, leather aprons, welding gloves, and safety shoes.
