Key ResponsibilitiesInbound Operations: Oversee the receipt of all incoming raw materials or finished goods. Verify physical counts against purchase orders, delivery challans, and packing lists before updating systems.Inventory Control & Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits. Reconcile physical inventory with system records (ERP/WMS) to minimize stock variances.Outbound Logistics: Coordinate picking, packing, and staging activities according to daily dispatch plans. Ensure accurate billing, invoice generation, and commercial documentation (E-Way bills, gate passes).Space Optimization: Manage warehouse layout and material placement using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) methodologies to maximize space utilization.ERP/WMS Management: Maintain real-time data integrity by accurately logging stock movements, material rejections, and inventory adjustments in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Tally).Manpower Supervision: Supervise floor staff, loaders, and forklift operators. Distribute daily workloads, monitor productivity, and enforce discipline on the shop floor.Safety & 5S Implementation: Ensure the warehouse maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment following 5S practices. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocol and proper handling of material storage equipment.
