Key Responsibilities Strategic LeadershipDefine and drive the growth roadmap of the Data Centre vertical in alignment with CEs broader mission.Own the P&L, revenue targets, and profitability.Establish CE as a credible, competitive player in the hyper scale and colocation space.Project Execution & DeliveryOversee end-to-end project deliveryfrom design to IST to handover.Ensure projects are Tier III/IV compliant, on time, on budget, and fully aligned with client SLAs.Integrate best practices in QA/QC, safety, and system uptime (power, cooling, redundancy).Business Development & Client SuccessEngage with hyperscalers, colos, and enterprise clients to build long-term relationships.Lead pre-sales efforts, solution design, bid strategy, and negotiations.Represent CE at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings.Team Building & LeadershipRecruit, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team of engineers, project managers, designers, and QA leads.Build a high-performance, tech-enabled, and client-obsessed culture.Establish clear KPIs, training paths, and growth plans for the team.Sustainability & InnovationEnsure all designs align with Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, TIA-942, and FM Global standards.Integrate energy-efficient designs and PUE optimization into every project.Champion green building certifications (e.g., LEED) and sustainable technologies.Education & CertificationsB.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)PMP, LEED AP, CDCP, or equivalent certifications are a strong plusExperience15+ years in MEP or mission-critical infrastructure5+ years in data center leadership roles with Tier III/IV project deliveryProven P&L ownership, business scaling, and large team leadershipSkills & CompetenciesDeep knowledge of MEP systems in data centers (UPS, HVAC, PDUs, CRAC, fire suppression)Strong client-facing skills with a solution-selling mindsetStrategic thinking with executional rigorPassion for building and scaling new verticalsStrong digital acumenData Center Design
