Designation- Purchase ManagerA person would be responsible for the full spectrum of purchasing processes that includes supplier/vendor development for all kinds of material used in the making of various kinds of furniture i.e. steel, brass, iron, and wood. He should have a natural neck to deal with suppliers and agencies with a commercial mindset able to negotiate effectively while maintaining mutually beneficial relationships. Vendor development, price negotiation, purchase order execution, timely delivery, and stock management would be the key skills required. Prior experience in the Furniture manufacturing industry would be preferred.Education- Graduate. Masters would be given preference.Experience- minimum 10 yrs in manufacturing industry like furniture/automobile (textile experience will not be considered)Roles & Responsibilities;Develop new designs and value-added purchase of Hardware & Electronic Components in Brass, Steel, and Zinc from different vendors from all over IndiaDevelop new design and purchase of Door Handles, Locks, Furniture Locks, Main Door Lock and all types of door Accessories in various finishes from all over India.Developing & Monitoring the Vendor and supply agreement process with new Vendor Development as per company RFQ.Responsible for making & following up on Purchase orders, QC for Purchase Material, Follow-up with Vendors, coordinating with the Account department for vendor payment timely, and Timely visits to Vendors for Vendors' Audit or Follow-up.Develop vendors for various processes available in the organization as casting, Forging, Die & Tool Developing, CNC Engraving, Chemical Etching, Machining, Grinding, Buffing, Electroplating, Lacquering, Assembly, Laser Logo, third-party inspection, and dispatch to the domestic clients.Strategize, plan, and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies.Work with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments & sources within timelines.
