Responsibilities:1. Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures based on documentation2. Review patient medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of coding3. Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding issues4. Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations5. Maintain patient confidentiality and data security6. Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives7. Stay updated on coding conventions and changes in healthcare regulations

- Dispensing medications: Responsible for accurately dispensing prescribed medications to patients, ensuring correct dosage and instructions are provided.- Counseling patients: Provide counseling to patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions, as well as answer any questions they may have.- Maintaining medication inventory: Keep track of medication stock levels, order new supplies when necessary, and ensure expired medications are properly disposed of.- Collaborating with healthcare professionals: Work closely with doctors and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.- Patient record management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records, including allergies, current medications, and medical history.- Adhering to regulations: Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to pharmacy practice, including privacy laws and controlled substance regulations.Required skills and expectations:- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication dosages, and drug interactions.- Excellent communication skills for counseling patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals.- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.- Familiarity with medical coding and other healthcare industry standards is a plus.
