Aircraft Mechanic - Job DescriptionPosition: Aircraft MechanicAnnual Salary: 4,00,000 - 8,00,000 per yearIndustry: Aviation / Aircraft MaintenanceJob ResponsibilitiesInspect aircraft structures, engines, and mechanical systems.Perform routine and preventive aircraft maintenance.Repair and replace defective aircraft components.Troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems.Assist with engine, landing gear, hydraulic, and pneumatic system maintenance.Conduct pre-flight and post-maintenance inspections.Follow aircraft maintenance manuals and approved technical procedures.Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspection reports.Use specialized tools and ground-support equipment safely.Follow aviation safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Work closely with Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and other maintenance staff.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems.Good troubleshooting and technical skills.Ability to read aircraft maintenance manuals and technical drawings.Attention to detail and safety awareness.Ability to work in shifts and under time-sensitive conditions.Good teamwork and communication skills.QualificationDiploma/ITI/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Relevant aircraft maintenance training or certification is advantageous.Required authorization/licensing depends on the specific maintenance role and aviation regulations.Career GrowthAircraft Mechanic Senior Aircraft Mechanic Lead Technician Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
