Key Responsibilities:- Understand customer RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications for tubular assemblies and sheet metal parts. - Participate in design feasibility studies, DFMEA reviews, and provide manufacturability inputs. - Support APQP activities including timing plans, PPAP submissions, and prototype approvals. - Define manufacturing processes for tubular bending, welding (CO, TIG, MIG), fixture development, sheet metal stamping, fabrication, and finishing. - Prepare initial process flow diagrams, control plans, and work instructions. - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for prototype and tool development. - Track fixture manufacturing, tool readiness, sample submissions, and validation activities. - Conduct sample trials and ensure part quality meets drawing and GD&T requirements. - Support tool try-outs, fixture validation, dimensional inspections, and part performance tests. - Support customer meetings, project reviews, and sample submissions. - Address initial feedbacks and ensure corrective actions are implemented. - Maintain APQP checklists, sample submission records, trial reports, inspection reports, and PPAP documents.
