Full Argon TIG Welder TIG Welder TIG & Arc Welder TIG Welder Welding Inspection
Key ResponsibilitiesPrecision Welding Operations: Perform high-quality TIG / GTAW welding on critical components made of Stainless Steel (SS), Aluminum, Carbon Steel, and exotic alloys like Titanium or Inconel.Full Argon Purging: Execute back-purging setups using Argon gas for pipe welding to prevent internal oxidation (sugarisation) and ensure a smooth, uniform internal root bead.Machine & Torch Calibration: Select and sharpen appropriate tungsten electrodes (e.g., thoriated, ceriated, lanthanated). Calibrate high-frequency welding machines, adjusting amperage, post-flow gas timing, and flow meters precisely.Blueprints & Weld Symbols: Read and interpret advanced engineering drawings, blueprints, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to understand specific joint designs and dimensional tolerances.Joint Preparation: Cut, bevel, clean, and fit-up workpieces using specialized tools. Ensure the welding zone is completely free of moisture, grease, or oxides before striking an arc.Radiographic Quality Checks: Ensure all critical joints meet stringent non-destructive testing (NDT) standards, including X-ray/radiography, dye penetrant testing (DPT), and visual inspections.Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain an ultra-clean workspace (critical for high-alloy welding). Adhere to rigorous safety protocols, including wearing correct shade auto-darkening helmets, leather safety gear, and respiratory protection when working with toxic fumes.

TIG Welding Arc Welder TIG & Arc Welder Welding Technology
Key Responsibilities1. Welding OperationsSetup and Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate arc welding equipment (e.g., SMAW/Stick, MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW) and related tools such as grinders, plasma cutters, and torches.Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to determine the required welding technique, materials, and dimensions.Welding Performance: Perform high-quality welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, and pipe/6G) on different materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys.Fabrication: Align, fit, and tack-weld components into final positions using jigs, clamps, and hand tools before performing the final weld.2. Preparation and Quality ControlMaterial Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, beveling, or cutting metal surfaces to ensure a proper joint and fusion.Inspection: Visually inspect completed welds for defects such as porosity, undercut, and slag inclusions, and perform necessary repairs or re-welding to meet quality specifications.Testing: Assist in performing tests (e.g., destructive or non-destructive testing) on welds as required by quality control standards.Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of welding machines, cables, electrodes, and work area to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.3. Safety and ComplianceSafety Adherence: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as helmets, heat-resistant gloves, and safety shoes.Code Compliance: Ensure all welding work is carried out in compliance with recognized industry codes and standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).Hazard Reporting: Immediately identify and report any hazards, equipment defects, or non-compliant work practices to the supervisor.
