- Perform various types of massages on clients as per their requirements: The massage therapist will be responsible for providing different types of massages to clients based on their needs and preferences. This may include Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massages.- Assess clients' conditions and customize treatments accordingly: The massage therapist will conduct initial assessments of clients' physical conditions, health history, and specific concerns to tailor their massage treatments and ensure they are safe and effective.- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the massage therapy room: It is crucial for the massage therapist to keep the treatment room clean, organized, and sanitized between clients to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all clients.- Educate clients on self-care practices and techniques: The massage therapist will educate clients on self-care practices, stretches, exercises, and relaxation techniques to help them maintain the benefits of the massage therapy treatment in between sessions.Skills and Expectations:- Strong knowledge and proficiency in various massage techniques- Ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions- Physical stamina and strength to perform massages for extended periods- Certification or diploma in massage therapy is preferred and may be required
