Read and derive measurements, angles, dimensions, and quantity of material needed to fabricate a structure. Use and analyze job specifications. Research data and use industry catalogs. Operate Windows Systems computer (Microsoft Office Suite), handheld calculator, compass, scales, and drafting tools. Distinguish colors when working with color-coded drawings. Perform hand and computer aided drafting and material take-off tasks. Plan, organize, multi-task and carry out assignments with minimal direction and supervision. Develop and check girder beam shop drawings, detail drawings, single and multi-coped pipe templates for field use, and nest material (plate, beam, and pipe). Piece mark prints.
