Job SummaryThe CNG Buster Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNG Buster systems and associated equipment used in the City Gas Distribution network within the assigned Geographical Area (GA). The role ensures safe gas pressure management, equipment reliability, and uninterrupted CNG supply to stations and pipeline networks.Key Responsibilities1. Operation & Monitoring Operate and monitor CNG Buster systems and associated equipment. Maintain required gas pressure levels in CNG pipelines and stations. Record daily operational parameters and log sheets.2. Maintenance Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of:o Buster compressorso Valves and regulatorso Pressure gauges and transmitterso Electrical panels and instrumentation Ensure timely servicing and replacement of worn-out components.3. Troubleshooting Diagnose and rectify pressure drop issues, gas leaks, and mechanical faults. Coordinate with engineering teams for major repairs or shutdowns.4. Safety & Compliance Follow HSE guidelines and gas safety standards. Ensure compliance with regulations issued by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB).
