Ensure duties of a bike technician include performing basic bike maintenance and interacting with customers to understand their needs. The level of certification achieved may affect the types of jobs available to as per Manager Guideline. Must have the knowledge and mechanical skills necessary to replace parts Test bikes, fix unusual problems, and more. Bicycle technicians also must have strong customer service skills to be able to diagnose problems based on customers' complaints or concerns and to instruct customers in proper bike maintenance.
