The role demands a good confidence level for:Analysis & Design of Structures using softwares, understanding the results and implications on costEver evolving Construction Material ScienceAnalysis of Results from Experiments. Unconventional solutions by challenging assumptions is the key to innovationCore ResponsibilitiesConduct experiments and analyse results on various topics like material behavior, structural behavior, etc.Perform theoretical studies and/or software simulations to reinforce the research ideas and the need for physical experimentsCoordinate with Client / Consultant's representatives for any experiments or field testsEstimate the effort, quantities and cost of activities and equipmentEnsure that all the works done are in accordance with the approved drawings, experiment specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.Report to the Manager and provide him with inputs about the work progress.Making sure that the work done is as per the Quality standards prescribed.During the process and at the end, the engineer must be vigilant and ensure that all rules, regulations and guidelines like safety etc., have been followed.Should be able to plan the day-to-day activities and execute the same.

Develop schematic designs and detailed designs for small to large scale projects. Carry out checks on the work carried out by graduate engineers and CAD technicians. Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned tasks between all disciplines. Ensure designs meet Clients requirements and compliance with relevant Codes of Practice.
