Get up to speed with the overall solution (front to back) very quickly.? Develop a detailed understanding of how the tables, and 450+ stored procedures and .NETservices work together to drive the solution.? Work with the Web and Services developers to implement new functionality, which will involveunderstanding requirements, problem solving, and technical build in MS SQL 2012/2016 of newschemas, very complex stored procedures (in the past this has involved double dynamic SQL,complex CTEs, dynamic pivots) and considerations around our significant use of mergereplication.? Use your understanding of the business requirements and technical architecture to allow you to robustly design, implement and test new functionality, enhance existing functionality and make intelligent solution focussed decisions with minimal oversight.? Implement new functionality with consideration of performance implications in large data (500 million+ records in certain tables for some clients).? Gain the trust of the management team in order to gain sysadmin on the production databases in order to investigate production issues, and provide infrequent support to the DBA.? Suggest new innovative functionality, and actively participate in team discussions around new areas of the system.? Maintain a flexible working style across multiple requirements and tight deadlines.RequirementsExperience with most of the following is required, however training will be provided where required:? Significant experience working with SQL 2012/2016? Exceptional T-SQL coding and debugging capabilities, using almost all T-SQL capabilities? Understanding of SQL Server security and performance? Solution focussed individual with great problem solving skills? Any experience working with financial systems would be beneficial but not essential.
