Key Responsibilities:1. Design and Development:Design HVAC chillers and heat pumps based on project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.Perform heat load calculations, thermodynamic analysis, and system optimization.Develop detailed designs, schematics, and technical documentation for chiller and heat pump systems.2. Component Selection:Identify and select suitable compressors, evaporators, condensers, and other components based on system requirements.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality components within budget.Conduct performance analysis to ensure components meet energy efficiency and operational standards.3. Technical Analysis:Analyze system performance using simulation tools and software (e.g., Bitzer, Matlab).Evaluate design feasibility, troubleshoot technical challenges, and propose solutions.4. Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, manufacturing teams, and clients to ensure successful project execution.Support installation teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting as needed.Required Qualifications and Skills:1. Education:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.Masters degree in Thermal Engineering or Refrigeration is a plus.2. Experience:37 years of experience in designing HVAC systems, especially chillers and heat pumps.Strong background in selecting and analyzing components like compressors, evaporators, and condensers.3. Technical Skills:Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CREO).Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles.Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, EES, or ANSYS).Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and certifications (e.g., AHRI).
