Position Title: Senior Engineer - Solar PV DesignerWork Location: PuneQualification: BE / Btech in electrical / electronicsExperience Level: Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in solar PV project design(preferably in MW scale plants).Key Skill Sets: PVsyst simulation expert, energy yield assessment, Probabilityanalysis technical report writing.Job description:The position requires ability to efficiently multi-task and manage multiple projects/taskssimultaneously, with aggressive and challenging timelines.The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment shall becrucial. The principal responsibilities shall essentially include:? Lead technical feasibility and due diligence projects. This shall include client andinternal co-ordination with internal team of Solar Energy designers to deliver projectswithin allocated time and budget.? Develop initial PV system concept of plant layout which shall essentially includetechnology assessment, tilt-pitch optimization, DC overload analysis, long term energyyields analysis and project economics for optimum LCOE.? Support detail engineering and owners project with conceptual designs.? Support the preparation of special proposals and bids.? Lead site visits of feasibility projects and gather information to for design and identifycritical implementation risks.? Handle EPC bid management projects which involves preparing comprehensive RfPdocumentation with technical specifications following the local and standard codalcompliances. Perform bid analysis through set benchmark and provide technicalsupport in contract finalization.? Maintain awareness of new product technology and communicate pertinentdevelopments with colleagues.? Support SgurrEnergys solar PV business development activities.? Site visits in India and abroad.Desirable Skillset:?
