We are seeking a Windows Server Administrator to join our team in Greater Noida. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience, preferably holding a B.E. degree. **Key Responsibilities:**- **Server Maintenance:** You will monitor and maintain Windows servers, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently to support business operations.- **User Management:** You will create and manage user accounts, setting permissions and access levels to ensure security and appropriate access to resources.- **Troubleshooting:** You will diagnose and resolve server issues, helping to minimize downtime and ensure systems are working effectively.- **Backup and Recovery:** You will conduct regular backups of server data and assist in recovery procedures, ensuring critical data is protected.- **System Updates:** You will apply patches and updates to Windows server operating systems to keep them secure and up to date.- **Documentation:** You will maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Windows server environments and basic networking concepts. 1. Work on administration of Windows Server assessments and backup monitoring2. Execute maintenance items out of hours (patching)3. Work on out-of-hours server reboots & checks4. Use the best practice customer environment assessment5. Schedule server assessments and review of Event Log (for MS like CS)6. Work on print server management7. Handle user and access management (password, user management, folder access, group policies, drive mapping, mailbox management, the delegation of rights)8. Database administration for various SQL Server versions 2008R2/2012/2014/2016 and mitigating Productionsupport. Experience in installing, configuring, managing, monitoring and troubleshooting SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014/2016/2017. Analyzing query structure and performance related issues, Worked on various query optimization tasks with application teams, worked on clustered and non-clustered indexes. Worked on various issues for servers in Always on , analyzing sync up issues. Have skills to deploy package through ETL, troubleshooting job failure issues. Trouble shooting database consistency problems after analyzing logs and fixing those errors. Designed packages in ETL to automate and put sql server queried data to FTP server. Analyzing dead lock issues with help of trace and rectified them to improve performance. Worked on various replication technology i.e snapshot ,Merge and Transactional . Configured Mirroring and Log shipping for migrating large databases in shorter span of time. Worked on different issues Related to DB mail , SMTP server. Managing security related request with minimal rights to databases . Worked on different SQL Server hardening parameters. Migration of log shipped database server to new server
