Responsibilities: Review and analyse patient medical records to assign accurate diagnostic and procedural codes using standardized code sets such as ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines established by CMS, insurance companies, and other governing bodies.Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical documentation specialists to clarify diagnoses and procedures for precise coding.
