Key Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement procurement strategies: The Senior Manager Procurement will be responsible for creating and executing procurement strategies to optimize costs and enhance efficiency in the purchasing process.2. Manage vendor relationships: This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.3. Portfolios to be managed o Steel (Annual buying-1,50,000 MT) Must have handled steel procurement of TMT rebars and structural steel and preferably in EPC / Real estate / Construction and Fabrication industries. Must have decent knowledge of Steel grades / steel process and experience in dealing with TMT Manufacturers both Primary and others in India Good experience in inventory management and procure to pay cycle Execute Purchasing strategy as aligned with Organizational strategy and processes are in place to meet the demands from various TL plants to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets Develop, implement and maintain an evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance Exposure in cost reduction interventions by bringing in industry wise best practices (negotiations, strategic tie-ups, hedging, advance price contracts, payment terms etc.) Must have exposure in steel items Negotiation with knowledge of commercial levers and contract terms to ensure cost saving, quality standards and delivery terms with necessary technical input from teams (Design, central planning etc. ) Bring in outside in knowledge/ expertise in domains of digitization, automation AI/ML in all streams of the procurement process

. Execution of EPC contracts in the areas of FGD, Bulk Material Handling. Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology (BE / BTECH). Preferably from Mechanical stream. 20+ years experience in independently handling procurements for EPC company Personal characteristics- Good negotiation skills, Effective spoken and written communication Skills, Interpersonal skills and other leadership qualities. Software Autocad (preferred) Specialised Industry Knowledge of FGD / Material Handling is preferred
