We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement of engineering components, MRO, and imported materials. The role involves technical sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, import coordination, and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining quality and compliance with procurement processes.Key Responsibilities:Handle end-to-end procurement of engineering components, fabricated parts, MRO, and imported itemsReview technical drawings, prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing, payment, and delivery termsDevelop and manage vendor relationships, maintain approved vendor lists, and evaluate vendor performanceCoordinate import procurement, customs clearance, and documentation with freight forwarders, CHA, and finance teamsMonitor procurement KPIs, maintain purchase reports, ensure SOP compliance, and drive cost-saving initiativesCollaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely material availability and quality standardsRequired Skills & Qualifications:B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (Mandatory)4-7 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in technical/engineering procurementStrong experience in RFQ preparation, comparative statements, vendor negotiation, and drawing-based procurementAbility to interpret engineering drawings and manage domestic and import procurementProficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Tally or similar), and procurement documentationKnowledge of import processes, GST, HSN codes, Letter of Credit (LC), and Annual Rate Contracts (ARC) is preferredStrong analytical, negotiation, communication, and process-oriented mindset

Material Requirement Planning, Creating and floating Purchase Orders for domestic and imported Raw material.Calculating and monitoring Budgeted Vs Actual RMC on monthly basis as per BOM.Coordinating with CHA for shipment clearance.Monitoring & controlling inventory levels of purchase commoditiesPreparing and monitoring Supplier delivery Schedule.Monitoring Vendor Rating.Material Requirement Planning for connector, terminal, holder and cables.Checking & releasing the purchase order as per Material Resource planningNegotiations and finalization of commercial terms with Vendors

* A good 5 + Yrs of professional experience in handling any Mechanical, Equipment, Feed / Front-end, Project, Detail engineering roles with a EPC, Refinery, Thermal power plant, Mining, Oil & Gas projects preferably.* Exp in ensuring a proper design, review, calculation & execution of various mechanical equipment / packages like Valves, Expansion Joints, Pumps, Blowers, Fans, Conveyors, RAV - Rotary Airlock Valve & etc.* To manage / troubleshoot / resolve the technical issues from the construction, manufacturing & erection departments as well as the customer complaints consistently.* Exp in technical evaluation, preparation, execution & handling the CapEx of the quotations / RFQ - Request For Quotation & bids of the project.* Good exp in communicating, handling discussions & negotiations with the Client / Vendors of bids.* Good exp in optimizing the designs accordingly to the budget with the required technical calculations.* To analyze / verify the technical specifications & highlight the consequences of related equipment by participating in the review of technical design / design audits together with other departments & report any concerns / issues in the drawings to the Engineering Manager.* To develop a schedule for the given assignment, also communicate the same with the other departments.* Flexible in traveling to sites across India when required & to have good communication, organization skills with a result-oriented mind set.
