Resident Construction Manager - Civil is a critical role in the construction industry, responsible for overseeing the construction project for the government. The primary responsibility of a Resident Construction Manager - Civil is to ensure that the project is completed within the specified timeframe, budget, and quality.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day construction activities and ensure compliance with the contract documents and specifications.Work closely with the government officials and other stakeholders to ensure the project is progressing as planned.Manage the contractors and subcontractors and ensure that they are delivering their work to the required quality standards.Review and approve the contractor's work plans, schedules, and budgets.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that the construction work is in compliance with the approved plans and specifications.Prepare regular progress reports for the government and other stakeholders.Review and approve the contractor's change orders and claims.Resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.Ensure that all safety standards are met on the construction site.Manage the project budget and ensure that the project is completed within the allocated budget.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.Experience in managing government projects.Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.Proficiency in project management software.Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.Valid driving license.

Requirements:1. Overseeing, monitoring and executing construction activities at site.2. Co-ordination with multi-disciplinary team and site contractors for smooth running of construction activities.3. Ensuring construction sequences and methodologies adopted are in compliance with project execution plan there by fulfilling HSSE and quality requirements and ensuring timely completion within budget.4. Ensure timely mobilization of resources(Manpower, material and equipment).5. Monitoring and sharing of construction progress to all concerned.6. Manage to obtain mandatory licenses, approvals and clearances as required for construction activities.Candidate should have compulsory experience in construction of oil storage tank of larger diameter.
