The GIS Expert will be responsible for all aspects of GIS Data Management, Data Verification, Analysis and visualization within the organization. This will involve working with a variety of spatial datasets, utilizing GIS software to perform spatial analysis, Data Verification and creating maps and reports to communicate findings, well equipped with the QA& QC procedures for to verify the data quality. Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Remote Sensing, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in GIS data development, data management and analysis/verification (QA/QC). Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS, any other open source GIS tool will be advantage added Strong understanding of spatial analysis techniques and cartography. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We are seeking a skilled and motivated GIS Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining GIS Data that support various projects across the organization. The GIS Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze spatial data and provide actionable insights.Key Responsibilities:- GIS Data Management: - Collect, analyze, and manage spatial data from various sources.- Ensure data accuracy, quality control, and compliance with standards.- Mapping and Visualization:- Create high-quality maps and visualizations to support project needs.- Develop interactive web maps and dashboards for stakeholder engagement.- System Development and Maintenance:- Design and implement GIS applications and tools using appropriate technologies (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).- Maintain and update GIS databases and systems.- Spatial Analysis:- Conduct spatial analyses to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in data.- Provide technical support for modeling and simulations related to geographic data.- Collaboration:- Work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate GIS solutions into ongoing projects.- Provide training and support to team members on GIS tools and methodologies.- Documentation and Reporting:- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.- Maintain records of GIS projects and activities.Send resume at : balwinder@iconsoftech.com
