Perform radiation treatment planning, dose calculations, and plan verification.2. Conduct patient-specific QA and treatment delivery verification.3. Perform routine QA, calibration, and commissioning of radiotherapy equipment.4. Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and licensing requirements.5. Conduct radiation surveys, area monitoring, and shielding evaluations.6. Monitor occupational radiation exposure and maintain dose records.7. Maintain QA, dosimetry, and radiation safety documentation.8. Manage radiation protection programs for patients, staff, and the public.9. Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance activities.10. Investigate radiation safety incidents and implement corrective actions.11. Provide technical support and training to clinical and technical staff.12. Assist in procurement, acceptance testing, and implementation of new equipment.13. Participate in quality improvement, accreditation, and departmental development activities.14. Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department and Hospital Management related to Medical Physics and Radiation Safety.Eligibility* M.Sc. Job Responsibility:-1. Providing individualized radiation therapy treatments to patients, in consultation with the oncology team.2. Explain the process to patients and answer any questions.3. Administering radiation therapies as per patient treatment plans.4. Using medical imaging equipment to ensure treatments are delivered accurately.5. Assessing patients reactions to treatments, providing advice on the side effects of treatments, and methods of alleviating these.6. Monitoring patients' progress and suggesting amendments to treatment plans, when necessary.7. Performing quality assurance tests on simulation and treatment machines to ensure they are in working order.8. Undertaking oncology research to improve treatment methods.9.
