Quality Engineer Job DescriptionWe are looking for a quality engineer to monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs. The quality engineer's responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.A successful quality engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.Required Skills & Qualifications3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Methodologies: Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean principles, PPAP, APQP, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).Experience coding and using QA software tools and processes.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management skills.Quality Control Systems: Develop and execute quality standards, inspection protocols, and testing plans for raw materials and final products.Problem Solving (CAPA): Lead root cause analysis (using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA) to manage non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.Data Analysis: Monitor quality metrics and apply statistical process control (SPC) to track performance trends and reduce waste.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve product designs and evaluate supplier performance.Salary 25 K to 40 K CTC

Candidate with metallurgy, heat treatment, and nitriding background will be preferred. Should be able to communicate with the customers, handle manpower, and run the whole plant as a plant manager.
